Silence

Silence
By Rebecca Dominique morris
We once would talk for hours about the littlest of things
Freely able to converse with every word spoken a strum on my heart strings
We used to say good morning just to start our day
I never knew then , things would end this way
I went from feeling loved to now just being ignored
Praying you’d have some basic compassion or decency from the lord
Reaching out just to hear you say the words for this to end
But instead you ignore and refuse to communicate using the silent treatment to debase oneself morally- condescend
silence…
Silence that shows you, you are no longer valued and your words feelings and thoughts no longer matter
Your mind left confused and blatter
A message without words that leaves your value feeling depleted and your voice and thoughts muted
Silence which is a tactic to leave you feeling Intentionally persecuted
Silence and not even a basic and dignified conversation
 Causing intentional deprivation
Silence
The silent treatment known as just another form of being abused
Leaving it’s receivers hurt , frustrated , confused and feeling used
Ignoring someone is not a strategy; it's a flat-out disregard for someone else's feelings
Why instead of ignore do you not just
Confess the truth that you’ve been concealing
Why would you want to hurt someone like this intentionally
Abuse someone mentally
No regard for how it makes a person feel
Doubts if what we had was ever real
Silence
You’ve got a way of tearing a world apart, how, can you not see what you’ve done
Silence It’s the most damaging thing you could do to someone
Making them feel they are less and not worth your time so are muted
The things we once shared left polluted
Silence
It’s that really all we’ve been through is worth
The devils tactics at play here on earth
Silence
