Silence

Silence
A deafening blow to the heart,
as our love lies dying,
like wilting flowers,
on a cold winters night.

Silence
Leaves me out cold,
Torn and broken,
Rejected and beaten,
Lifeless and alone.

Silence
leaves me off the road,
sitting there listening to the silence.
