SIGNS OF SORROW

"SIGNS OF SORROW." My heart is heavy, My spirit's weak, I feel like I can't go on, I feel like I can't speak. My eyes are clouded, My mind is dark, I feel like I'm lost in a sea, I feel like I'm stuck in a park. A park of sorrow, A park of pain, A park that has no end, A park with no gain. I look for signs of hope, But all I see is despair, There's nothing that can lift me up, There's nothing I can repair. My soul is broken, My life is torn, I feel like there's no escape, I feel like I'm being worn. Worn down by sadness, Worn down by pain, Worn down by the sorrow, That's left me feeling drained.
