"Silent eyes bear the weight of what’s unsaid — and carry it like it’s theirs." - Author
"The sigh behind the silence, lilts and lingers when seen unchallenged." - Author

Listen to poem:
Silent eyes read the sighs in breaths between words. They trace the quiver that lies, on still lips. They hear echoes that, were never made up, or never made it out. They never forgive, only condemn, in so many invisible ways.

This work really captures a sense of unspoken judgment and the heavy weight of uncommunicated feelings. The "silent eyes" are a powerful image, suggesting a deep, almost psychic, understanding of hidden emotions that leads to condemnation rather than empathy. It's a very thought-provoking piece about the silent power dynamics in observation.
