Sifted As Wheat

Sifted As Wheat

Through a barbed wire fence of a deal gone bad
The blazing sun that creates blindness so sad
They lurk in the middle of the night to send a fright
Try to stay attached to the vine a heavenly design
We sift through vapors yet were late reading the Sunday papers
Satan will come to sift you as wheat we must be courages to defeat
Shattered glass on the cenent floor lest I implore
Another visitation needing a rest on a long vacation
The hand writing is on the wall for all to see
Sifted as wheat will be your claim let me explain
We all must stay attached to the vine for then we shall shine
God knows our heart but cetainly wants us to grow
For you have every right in which to know
There's a narrow gate that reaches heaven's door lest I implore
Faces without traces of truth being attached
Working today can give anyone a heart attack
Sifted as wheat beneath the sheet until the fat lady sings
The crown jewel of the porch swing let the sound of freedom ring
We have eyes filled with spots try to connect the dots
The tragedy will be enormous for a stated cause that's atrocious
Let's look above to the heavenly love merciful one take this chip
Put on the whole armor of God & prepare for a trip.
