Side Affects
Concocting a potion is ever so hairy
Just having the notion is possibly scary
And then there’s the problem of knowing what’s troubling
What mixture of elements has to be cooking
To settle the cauldron and keep it all bubbling
Tasting the brew and learning to spit
Is accomplished in one easy moment
One method to try is the rainbow attempt
By selecting the colorful spells
And mixing a palette ignoring the labels
Watching the hues of the steam
If it bubbles and spatters
In time with your chanting
And eye holes appear in the pot
Then go to plan B
As fast as can be
Ignoring those quickening twitches
They’re the reason there’s so damn few witches
