Shy Water
Don't be afraid to swim out of shy waters...
Bite your tongue it is better unsaid
some days it don't pay to get out of bed
Brew your coffee with a cup of tears
everything out of reach for fears
Don't dive in the deep end you may drown
just sitting around smiling like a clown
Life passes by while your hitching a ride
thumb stays up but life drives on by
She smiles at you but you look away
wondering why lonely you stay
Sleep walking through life to get by
there are no wins if you never try
Your thirst for love but the water is shy
you always rush in at low tide
A little confidence goes a long way
swim don't sink have fun and play
Love is around be young don't dodder
Nothing so sweet as drinking away shy water.
