Shy Guy (Once Again, I Just Can'T Win)

I’m tired of being the shy guy,
I’m voicing my desires tonight!
No longer will I sit on the sidelines,
waiting to be noticed!
No!
Tonight I’m drawing your attention to me!
I will no longer sit in silence!
I will no longer be this quiet!
Why am I shy anyway?
Why do I live inside this shell?
Alas, I remember now,
whenever I leave it,
my bravery turns safety into Hell.
But if the safety of my Berlin Wall causes me to miss out,
makes me begin to regret,
why is it I still stand behind it?
Once again,
I just can’t win.
