Shrugged It Off

became 
accustomed 
to the habit 
of shrugging 
off arguments 
brought about 
by emotional 
outbursts 
since everything 
would always 
seem to blow over 
in time eventually 
till one day it 
did not blow over 
instead it was over 
we were over this 
time for real
