Show Some Love
Written By: D. Collins 1/13/24
There is this woman who often calls me father.
She is all that! And, an OG Daddy-Daughter.
As I am, she's not as agile as she used to be.
But, still in all, she's downright, dirty family.
Sometimes we have to reach back and give them props.
Show some love and honor in just being their Pops.
She used to be my Li'L Girl, but she ain't no more.
She's doing and thinking what ya'll ain't ready for.
A Spoogie is just a mixture of sugar and spice.
If you stir it like Gumbo, it always turns out nice.
I'm just showing some love for a beautiful, black woman.
Just like Angela Davis, no one ever sees you coming.
