Show Me Your Heart

I can't thank you enough
You buy me plenty of stuff
Yet, sometimes I feel this isn't real
I know you mean well
But hey, can't you tell
A loving embrace
A touch on the face
Kind words instead
Of that denim and lace.

A look in your eyes
When I'm walking by
What I see only
Makes me want to cry.

And I don't know why
You brush off with haste
Every time, I come to your place
Bottle of wine
Singing great times.

Oh, yes you say
Changing is near
Tell me I pray
What I want to hear
For I am meagre
Feeling this way
Show me your heart
So we can start
On a new chapter
Our love shall not part.
