Show Me the Light

I want to let you in my life
I want to find the way to the light
But every time i get that far
something always pulls me back

It's like im afraid 
afraid to believe
Afraid to achieve

People tell me to pray 
Pray for this day
But i cant

People always pull me down
They pull me away from you

I have sinned so much
Im always doing the wrong
God show me the right
Show me the light

One ray of light is that forgiveness wipes away all the sins when we ask for it, and sets us up for a new slate on which to write. God is love. I'll try to put a poem on soon that gives hope.
