Show Me a Star
Show me a star, one bright, serene, and lofty,
and let me dream of shining at its side.
May that light shine forth, gleaming yet, so softly,
and give light to, all who on earth abide
Let its light guide each soul's precarious journey,
its shadow cloak all when they need to hide.
Oh, star burn on through cauldron, trial and fury.
Help lead each soul through seasons cruel in fate.
One radiant star where all good souls see rightly,
to dash the thrones of malice, greed, and hate.
Brave light shine on, through night when many tremble,
and guide each soul toward your heav'nly gate.
Let that star burn 'til sunrise breaks eternal,
your grace affirmed, you bid each to your side.
Use my last spark to ban the foe infernal,
then gather home your chosen, perfect bride.
Brave light shine on, through night when many tremble,
and guide each soul toward your heav'nly gate.
