Your cloaked in mystery. Show kids narrative techniques and most of all parents should be creditable when answering. If the parent is willing to listen, a two-way street. I'm hating on the controlling parents who demand obedience, are suspicious and shun meaningful dialogue and eschew healthy relationships. Also, parents can't hide vaping although they think they are, mind what YOU say and don't say don't smoke!! Unless you don't smoke. Words are cheap, not yours of course.

(Your pops caught you smoking, and he says, "No way" That hypocrite smokes two packs a day) you gotta love the Beastie Boys Anaya, meaningful dialogue, common sense seems to be the order of the day, I think your comment has shown quite a lot of it here, thanks so much for sharing, I’m trying to find my way back into the soup, of course I will have to see what you’re up to, LA has had its fair share of the news over here in the past few weeks, some shocking footage, stay safe, cheers David

I enjoyed reading your fun write. Love your line, "children without any questions." That will never happen... Parents have the answers even when they make them up. Right??? Have a fun day as you write away..................

Ha! Thanks Paula, yes perhaps parents make up little stories to buy themselves a bit of time or get out of an awkward moment, but some parents really do believe they know everything? and woe betide any child that questions them, cheers David
