Shove Me Down

Shove me down the shallow water , Where the sound of the shrill shrieking subsides .. Where stones float and bubbles drown , And toads make love to leaves And leaves to pebbles.. Shove me down the pond , In a manner , that I never make it back . To the surface , That is water Which changes form due to condition .. And hides the shallow water , Creating a perpetual ambiguity .. For I can't drown I must be shoved in .. How I long to be shoved in that shallow water .. Where I must breathe misery , And never die of suffocation , Where I must be hopeless For being fearless Or vice versa A few Dawns I must remain In some shallow water .. And one fine dusk When the water cools And coils it's life into a slumber sleep .. I must rise And fling up into the night sky , In pursuit of the stars , And for the norm , Gravity must bring me down , To some barren sands. I must hit hard And lie on dreaded sands , And wait for wind , To tarry me along , Whilst the winds decide , I must cease to weep And wander And occasionally loathe living .. Years or decades or centuries later , When it would be difficult to judge -out of hope or desert what was barren on a higher accord .. A certain summer wind would blow , Till it would reach a noisy shore , Where my remains would crawl into a crooked wooden boat , With a sailor bereft experience , And relatively indifferent crew .. The sailor ,after traversing a few miles from the port , Would leave the boat on its own .. And it must float To meet some silent shore ..

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
