Shout It To the World

Little girl lift your head
Stand up straight and tall
It's you who will rise in this
Him who'll take the fall

It was never you in the wrong
None of it's your fault
He is the guilty one
He will bear the shame

He tricked into feeling safe
You were putty in his hands
Then like a vulture preyed on you
Like a carcus laying dead

It never should have happened
It can never be taken back
You can help so many others
As well as you can yourself

So like I said stand up tall
Talk even when it really hurts
The only way men like him win
Is to keep it to yourself

So get mad, scream out loud
Shout it to the world
I am a not a victim standing here
I'm a mighty survivor
