Should Sleep Fall As Rain

Listen to poem:
Should Sleep Fall as Rain David J Walker Should sleep fall as rain Let it reign until the morn And fill the night with Humid breezes I am sheltered I am warm I am aware of the wettened world outside And the nature of a thirsty garden of Eden Eve came to me last night In a vision A dream sequence that Seemed to make no since In the context of A thunderstorm Let her reign in the virgin morn As I awaken in my fresh Naked flesh Wettened with a new realization My shelter is as open As her arms
