Should Be

Things are not what they should be
THAT I've come to know
The world has shifted two times o'er
And it's pace isn't very slow

My head is spinning with trouble
Caused by the spins of today
Yours would be too if you were sane
'Cause nearly everything has gone astray

When things are not what they should be
What am i supposed to do?
My first instinct is to run and hide
But then i would never see you

And yes that just escaped me
That just maybe I care about you
But things are not what they should be
So who knows if my words are true
