Shots Fired, the Aftermath(Footles)

Gun Shots
Call Cops

Few More
Hit Floor

Lights Off
Dry Cough

Dark Fears
Soft Tears

Phone Fails
Bite Nails

Some thing
Drove Me

Open
Curtain

Soft Cries
Inside

Broke Down
On Ground

Draw Near
Over Here

Father Please
Help Me

Late Night
Such Fright

Can't Sleep
Anxiety

I love the creativity and the work that must go into two word sentences that rhyme and convey a message. Great piece. Thank you for your commentst on Reflections In The Mirror

I moved from one bad area to the next and now my family and I are trying to get out of San Bernardino because the crime rate is increasing, a few months back, my neighbor up front, the lady's grandson was shot and he bled all on my car, in front of my door and on my daughter's slide in the back yard.I live in a duplex and it's completely open, no fence. He lived thank god but we were terrified, him and his friends were hanging outside and someone drove by shooting. It's Just not safe at all.

I live in downtown San Bernardino California and this neighborhood is really bad I am always hearing gun shots and someone's always getting killed. A few nights ago the gun shots sounded like it was next door to me, that's how loud it was, I was so scared, I called the police and the call failed, then I got through and they said they would send patrol cars to the area, mind you I never saw any and I was too shook up to go to sleep. All night looking out the window, and praying.Hope to move soon.

Tyesha - How have you been doing I hope this isn't a poem of reality though I do sense that it is - Life is a hard thing to endure at times - Been in a couple of scrapes myself in life, Shot and stabbed though nothing serious - I have missed you while I have been away - Working like a madman on our new home - God Bless you hon - YF4L, MJ
