Short End of the Stick
Short end of the stick.
Taken for granted.
Not given the benefit of the doubt.
Wrongly accused
Taken advantage of or used
Stolen from, so your going without.
Lied to and played
Done dirty and jaded
do you build up resentment within?
Ways to get back at,
It is nothing to laugh at.
Can you take it all on the chin?
It is in your best interest to learn the art
of forgiveness
It will do you such good for your soul.
Rise above the wrong doing
Kill the hate that is brewing and
Find peace so you mind remains whole
In the end we will stand before each of our Maker and how can we expect nothing but the worst. If we can't find forgiveness deep down and within us when our God actually forgave us first?
Love, intellect, reasoning and forgiveness are what sets our species apart. We are different, so show it- ask yourself if you have half the heart.
If you dont then stay stifled,
Sit there and clean your rifle,
All pent up with bitterness and rage-
Buy what the devils selling
And demons will keep dwelling
Where your soul is-
Behind your rib cage.
So you can take forgiveness, crumpled up in a ball and put it up high on a shelf. Or you can take it down, dust it off for good use and try it out first on yourself.
Stop meausuring success by things left behind and stop judging yourself by your wealth.
Forgive and be forgiven.
Quit regressing and start living!
