Shooting Star
"Wishes fly swiftly when shooting stars cross silent skies." The Poet
As if in flight, I heard no sound.
Speeding through the darkest surround.
Then came a spectacular light.
I heard no sound as if in flight.
It came streaming, a vibrant flame.
A spectacular light then came.
A shooting star, it was gleaming.
A vibrant flame, it came streaming.
Exploding in space, quite bazaar.
It was gleaming. A shooting star.
In the night sky, easy to trace.
Quite bazaar, exploding in space.
Now burned out. it had ceased to fly.
Easy to trace in the night sky.
Seen again, I really doubt.
It had ceased to fly, now burned out.
