SHOOT THE BREEZE
Ok this is me earth
You are all the way over here
In the middle we came together
Just for a short time not forever
Is there a speeding light
Don’t push it tonight
What are you thinking
My heart is breaking
I try so hard, I didn’t get far
Learning all I can about you
Still not getting through
Yet, laughing till dawn
Wanting so deeply to belong
Letting yourself feel sensible
You are so impossible
Shot the breeze
You and me
This is earth
You are here way over here
Let it go honey
It wasn’t that funny
Laughing till dawn
