Shoes Or More Shoes

Special thanks to DT for inspiration Your shoe sharing’s worth utter admiration Only one pair of shoes, one purse and one dress - Women's tough choices - source of daily distress. I'm faithfully in love with all my shoes With clear understanding, not confused. When one is on the go, the others wait For their turn for a special dress code date. I don't denounce their origin, per se, In every one I will step all the way. After all an Asian make - still a shoe, If bearing the red brand of Jimmy Choo. I treat them all with equal tender care, Designed they are but not designed to share. I'd lend my toothbrush for a single use Before you lay you feet into my shoes. Not implying foul odour, unrefined, But if that is the case, better me mine. Too bad, a pair of soles, chic and sublime, Can only be flaunted, one at a time. —————————————————————— Two Pairs Of Shoes Fashion hound, that I am I have shoes for every occasion One black pair of Adidas Probably made by some East Asian I only have one pair of feet Why would I need two pairs of shoes? I can only wear one pair at a time Besides, I'm easily confused Should you ever find me out with two pair And you happen to be in a bind I am the kind of fella that shares Just remember, the black Adidas are mine. Perhaps you mean "per se"? I don't mind wearing knock-off brands (wherever they are from - who's to say). Shoes before rent, I say... :)

Wow! Thanks for sharing this amusing wisdom on "lady's shoe-preference" through your poetic style ... making me chuckle. Also, this is an excellent example of what your contest requires. God bless you.

you were very well inspired by DT. Both poems are adorable. But you know well that a woman needs LOTS of shoes

LOL I never figured you for stinky feet. Lots of fun, Maggie. You are bound to get some hilarious poems from this contest. I may even search around to see if I can find someone to poke a little good natured fun at. Should be a great contest:)

Hey, I was born blessed with no natural odours whatsoever but my poetic mind tends to stink, pardon me, think “collective and generic”! LOL
