Shoes of Servanthood

For God's kingdom, I wear my servanthood shoes with delight Being His steward who works by His might. Victoriously, I tread circumspectly, along life’s race Wearing service-shoes, optimizing the Saviour’s love and grace. For the Lord’s glory, I trek upward mountainous faith-venture Having my servant feet shod* well to prevail over weariness’ torture. By Christ’s strength, I’m replenished midst fatigue-bouts Taking off my labor-shoes as I rest from work’s whereabouts. With the Master’s guidance, I press forward despite night-caused obscurity Reaching out to others with my shoes of commitment’s dignity.

A lovely penned piece Beata, full of truth and godly application to put God's word into action with a servant's heart. Blessings always, Gordon
