Shoeless Feet

Poem: Shoeless Feet
by: Ken Jordan
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: September 2012

As I stare out
across this land,
my feet are shoeless
upon the earth -

I give much respect
to the sand
for which I stand -

Holy men of God
walked before me
in the light of
Christ
long ago -

Respect this earth,
Toil the earth
and it will bare fruit-

Seed the meadows,
fields, and pastures,

so that the blades
of grass, vegetable,
hay and wheat
will manifest
in faith
with the blessings
of God -

My feet are shoeless
upon the earth -
