Shock

Breathless a wave of shock. A slight stumble over tumble weed. A drop, a fall. A scream, a stone, a mirror And I see, A reflection of someone else Not me Fainted, now I hear voices around me, Surrounding me An ambulance, a siren A wave of local people beside the road Being ordered to disperse I am now carried away. On a flimsy transferable bed I see the sky a dusty shade of blue. I pass a body, a few. I can see the plan so carefully laid out before me. So, what went wrong?
