Shiver

They told me the news today.
Don’t you cry, darling, don’t you cry.
My eyes stayed dry.

There's a shiver across my veins
It's got me wrapped up in chains
I try to run
but here it makes me stay

if there’s a god
my tormentors, he craves them
he pins me down and prays while he saves them.

That shiver just WON’T go away.
i’m stuck here
suffocating

It’s so cold.
even with the weight of my misdeeds to cover me
i’m still freezing.

That I might have to move across the country for the third time. I didn't include it in the poem because I didn't want to scare my friends with it.
