Shinrin-Yoku

Forest bathing
pour speckled light
over my head
lie back in frothing
fronds of fern
bubbles of golden sun
pop against my skin
honeyed tones glissade
down my back
earth calls, I root
myself in it
toes seeking depth
in hidden pools
mushrooms heaving
humped heads into air
spores released to float
fairy notes in flight
I follow free, hope
reborn unfettered
bathing forest

I'm not sure that either the poet or the poem are perfect, but thank you for the kind words.
