Shining Even in the Shadows

The emptiness now shapes her today,
And the pain that haunts me begins to heal.
Calling all angels to wipe these tears away,
A purpose, a dream, the sun shining even in the shadows.

Your brown eyes,
Your smile, your voice, and the love I still honour.
You are a testament that love endures beyond loss.

In another dimension, but still making my heart melt,
Where my loved ones await, I hear the homecoming call.
Will be soaring with the birds in swirl.
