Shine ya Eye
Shine ya Eye
Ya serious relationship fit be another man side;
na you cherish am, another man call am ride.
You post am with pride,
You call am your queeni.
But for corner, dem dey laugh:
because dem know wetin ya mind no know.
E go tell you: “we broke up, but not enemies.”
My guy, no be true o — na code.
E mean say e still dey go back go dey fold.
Dem no dey remember the plenti-plenti care,
They count the moments you couldn’t be there.
Once your pocket dry, her love fit dry.
No get am for mind say she no fit live without you.
If you kpai today, na one month cry patapata.
For ya burial ground,
her new man fit don dey stand near am.
But your mama… ah!
Na she no go ever get another you o!
Impress her small, she go rain prayer for ya head.
Do same thing to ya babe,
Na just “thanks.”
E no get wetin fit replace mama love;
na little thing she dey ask from you—
Just make am proud.
No be wig, no be labubu.
As you Dey struggle tey impress her,
As no woman want broke man,
No mama want dead pikin o!
