Shine the Light

time is endless in my eyes
i have lived many years  in  disguise
many forms i have taken
giving hope to the worlds forsaken

i have seen you all, in my time
from a mountain top i did climb
asking for nothing, only your heart
is the place to end and to start
i saw you step into the dark
i watched you as your world fell apart
i was there as you tried to hide
watching you always by your side

you turned away from my glowing light
the dark formed and gave you  fright
its not to late to turn it around
i'm always here to be found

feel the wind in your hair
that is me showing i care
can you not feel or sense me here
have you lost your natural fear
ask me to shine ,and ill turn on the light
i can easy turn day to night
speak the words its up to you
turn on the light 
and make yourself new
