Shine Another Way

Oh, for meek and mild,
to seek the child inside and hold his hand
Help him not be shy
and not to cry and say you understand

Not all men must fight
or pen with might to frighten fools away
Now and then what’s right
can bend the light to shine another way

You must bear in mind
and care to find the path that walks within
Strength is yours to know
and yours to show that yes, the mouse can win

Hi Mike, I love this clever poem. It is said that the meek and mild who have found the child in themselves will find a guiding hand, and be able to understand, but what about the strong who could be wrong, They must find a path, a strength that only each one of us alone, maybe in some other way, can know, and thus say yes, we can now grow. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
