Shine Above

He looks up
Wishing he could join their orbits
A little star to burn in higher galaxies
Hoping he would rise
And fulfill his fantasies
Little stars hoping they would join
The heavenly bodies in their gatherings of intoxication
And kiss the sky
And become part of a constellation
Little star will you burn or burn out
If it takes a dozen light years
To ascend and stand out?
