Shimmering Stones

In the clear pristine waters glow
Where few have walked amongst it's flow

A place where wet stones, cool the sole
As water calmly flows to and fro

Pastel colors shimmering in the sun
Continuous flow, as the creek trickles on

Each rock different like shaded jewels
Glimmering, shimmering in the rippling pool.

Is there anything more calming than looking at the shimmering rocks within the water, a beautiful poem, Phyllis. I read your recent blog and it is so true, many new poets are clueless on what to do, too bad the site does not give some instructions to the new poets whether they be free or premium on how to navigate the site, that was very kind of you to do that blog~~
