Shifting Stages

Staring at all of these pages
Thinking about all of the cages
Wondering if time is what ages
Or if we’re just shifting stages
Ink doesn’t wrinkle with time
Stories don’t weaken or fade
They live in this moment forever
Perfect in choices once made
