Shifting of Days
In the shifting of days repeat, one slips of mind all the powerful and meek gratitude.
A feather floats freely.
Overwhelmed by such responsible ways, distracted by so many a trials when so clearly
simplistic are the goods we for granted take.
The wind caresses its flight.
In but one days pass these takings may fade or flee.
Time unrehearsed will always be.
Softly to the earth the feather will fall.
Embrace the vision of all such blessings warmly and with regret live without.
So does the sparrow mock not the new.
