'Shift in Atmosphere'

Our blessings aren't always adorned with ribbons that looks like a celebration It can be a random hello that might delay your trip but protect you from harm It's a smile that connects you with a stranger You never knew you needed I guess if you walk in expectation It does not matter who tries to rain on your parade It will be your reaction that determines the atmosphere you find yourself in Don't hold onto the hate and malice you are dealt Those who spew that will ultimately get it back You don't have to alter who you are to please someone who is unhappy in their own skin Hold onto your spirit; your resilience and your faith Remember what they sometimes hate in you is what is missing in their lives ©16062025

The fruit of self-control practiced every day can help keep negativity and hate at bay. Some have difficult stories. I love the shift in atmosphere. So true! Hugs

Hoping that all's well with you and yours! Today here, the sky is pale; the heavynrss seems to have silenced the chatter of the birds. Feels as though there is fraught intensity and.awareness within this write . Where some might choose to be blind,, you are chancey and alert. Keep well and stay happy ??. Best wishes, Mikki

Sometimes people don't understand it may be too heavy a load to walk the walk. They're like circles.... Nothing good enters or leave. Beautifully written lady!
