She's Just Tired
he waits by the window hoping that he will come home.
Through teardrops and laughter he swore she’d never be alone.
But for the first time she realizes that he may be gone.
(CHORUS)
She is tired of hoping
She is tired of praying
She is tired of crying
She’s just tired
Now night has fallen he isn’t calling another lonely night.
Whiskey on the table she drinks hoping she’ll see the light.
She cries in the dark thinking that it just don’t seem right.
(CHORUS)
She is tired of giving
She is tired of grieving
She is tired of believing
She’s just tired
Daylight is coming and she hopes she’ll be better even in pain.
Drinking and crying she thinks to herself there is nothing to gain.
Stares back out her window just in time to see the snow turn to rain.
(CHORUS)
She is tired of waiting
She is tired of loving
She is tired of living
She.s just tired
She is tired of hoping
She is tired of giving
She is tired of living
She’s just tired.
