She's Just Gone
She's just gone,
as fog dissopates,
in the morning sun,
as a fleetng rainbow
disappears
beyond the distant horizon.
She never said a word,
mute to any question,
I dared to ask.
So I let her leave in silence,
only in the aftermath
did I finally
place emotions once again
to the page,
silently screaming,
hoping she'll hear,
hoping she'll understand,
hoping she'll come back,
as a beautiful purple flower,
blooming in the sun.
