She's Gone Again

Gone again, she’s gone again
I think that I’m gonna cry again
‘Til she comes home to me again
Then it’ll be all right again.

I remember the mornings when we awoke
Quiet and watched the sun
On the bed, and she said
You know I love you.

Are you there oh is she there?
Thought I heard her voice, but she’s not there
Guess she’s gone but I wonder where
she could be when she’s not there?

It’s a cold and lonely night for me
Another lonely night
It ain’t right, but I’ll try
And see it through, tried to sleep tonight

Yesterday oh yesterday
I thought that we were in love to stay
But she seems so far away
I never thought it would end this way.

Oh I loved bein’ in love
I really miss bein’ in love
Can’t live like this, I gotta find
Another love someday soon.

Hello again, hello again
I think that we’re gonna try again
And maybe this time it’ll work again
But maybe this time it won’t again.
