She's a Friend Indeed

I Googled poetry sites
one day in December
One click brought me here
to this place 
this site that's
filled with verse and
rhyme and cinquain 
Haiku too. 
I felt lost among the
poets there were
thousands. 
And one stood out
her name caught my eye. 
SKAT offered a tapestry
of harmony and tranquility
beautiful vibes with warmth
that made me want to stay
She's compassionate 
and insightful
I see her humanity 
first hand 
I told her of my son
she was real with
tenderheartedness.
Thank you, SKAT
for everything.

Same here. You and Linda are such blessings to the newbies who show up because they want to write poetry, but yet are afraid they will be lost in this sea of poets. Yes, we will continue the friendship. Although, this place won't be the same. :(
