She's a Friend Indeed

I Googled poetry sites
one day in December
One click brought me here
to this place 
this site that's
filled with verse and
rhyme and cinquain 
Haiku too. 
I felt lost among the
poets there were
thousands. 
And one stood out
her name caught my eye. 
SKAT offered a tapestry
of harmony and tranquility
beautiful vibes with warmth
that made me want to stay
She's compassionate 
and insightful
I see her humanity 
first hand 
I told her of my son
she was real with
tenderheartedness.
Thank you, SKAT
for everything.
