Shepherd's Warning

sunrise painted sky;
   brilliant reds and pinks warn of
   storm before sunset

Red skies at night, sailor's delight. Red skies in morning, sailor's warning. Old poem about weather at sea. Great imagery in your haiku.

"Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning". I remember the late Peter Falk saying that to Jack Lemmon in the film "The Great Race". Good haiku.
