Shepherd

By serving God I serve man,
  but I cannot serve God by serving man;
  the horse is put before the cart;
  the sheep shall scatter to the wind....
  for I shall see sheep, yet not the herd ----
  one will fall away,
  the rest will follow,
  and the wolf shall rend them piecemeal

Quite a paradox in the first two lines, Keith. I have to believe that God is always served when we serve our fellow man. A very thought-provoking piece, my friend. Hope you are doing well. Hugs, Carolyn

The world works nicely with the divide and conquer theme. A good shepherd has a trusty staff to beat back the wolf. In your case-a very talented pen! A FAV MY FRIEND..

There's that wolf again. :) Nicely crafted Keith.
