Notes About The Poem

Shepherd

Shepherd

Yesterday, I learned His name.
Today, I call on Him.
Tomorrow, I pray…
I will be forever in His hand.

Amen

I love this! The photo also. I know the poem is yours but is the photo also? GORGEOUS! Both.

Yes. The photo is outside my home after monsoon last year. Then...last night the roof rocked and light-filled the windows for hours. It was grand. I hope it does it again tonight. (I do not think my dog, the bird or the fish agree.) Be safe, be still, the angels are dancing... Ann

;) Thank you ... time is so precious...I lost a close friend, adopted mother last year. I would give much to have a moment to call her, just to say hi. Now, I try to live particularly mindful of time, and all those that touch our lives. Thank you for reading my poems. Wildflowers that grow between the cracks... Ann

What a beauty you have sketched in these few lines dear friend. We learn about Him; we call on Him and we pray to Him in hour of our helplessness and agony. Beautiful lines in so simple a language. Thank you Ann for liking my Song my last poem on Musical Yoga or Sangeet Yoga. Anyone can visit my website (sangeetyoga.com) also to learn more about the wonders of Music. With best wishes always....Ravindra

My friend, there is something more, I have yet to write... that explains, recites, poets, and paints... the right colors and pictures... not mine, but His. Recently I heard a song, "wanting the Savior, more than the saving..." it was lovely. The kind of love found, is so much more. Have the very best day! Ann
