Notes About The Poem

Sheila Ramsey

She plays the piano at our local church She was a first teacher who I did perch She prays for me when I need a prayer She talks to me like she truly does care This teacher that I speak of so kindly Is a loving guide who shines brightly Sent to me from God’s own heaven Filling me with support when I was seven She taught me more than paper and pen And she trained me to learn more, then More than the words of a simple book She explained the meaning with a look I will always be thankful and blessed By this teacher whom I’m impressed October 5, 2019 Favorite Teacher or Professor Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Chantelle Anne Cooke

Hi Janice... Thank you. She wasn't my piano teacher, though. She was my kindergarten and 2nd grade teacher who I still have contact with today because she plays the piano at church. God bless you always sweet friend

She is definitely special. She does so much for everyone and I go to church with her now. Like I wrote, she plays the piano. She's amazing. God bless you, sweet friend, with love and prayers for you
