Sheerluck Homes and the Case of the Disappearing Poets

'Twas the Perpetually-Missing Soup Poets case,
With Homes and Whatsup hot on the chase.

Poets leaving was not breaking news,
So they slowly perused the usual clues.

Dr. Whatsup said, "Why do they go?"
Homes replied, "You mean you don't you know?"

"Though they tend to blame some bully's voice,
Poets disappear because they make a choice!"

Homes is right. I ran from my friends on Soup once, only to miss them so much I snuck back. They were gracious enough to have me. Thanks for a wonderful reminder spelled out in a wonderful way. Keep them coming. oldbuck

Didn't know that. I quit keeping track of arrivals and departures a long time ago. Being an air traffic controller didn't interest me;-) Sure a lot of crashes in this air space though!

It's elementary my dear John:-) The title and characters cracked me up but the theme is sad. I've seen poets come and go and they disappear for various reasons. Folks here are still being bullied I speak from recent experiences:-( I wish the injustices were dealt with but it is pointless as sadly they won't listen to the truth:-( hugs Jan xx

I forgot to use "elementary, Dear Whatsup." I was going to and forgot! You are so correct. It is elementary that we the people are silly beyond explanation and I shall forever (almost) return to the light side in order to combat the forces of sadness, somberdom and succotash! Even the sensational SheerLuck cannot solve everything:-(

hey, John is really Dr. Whatsup's first name. This could get rather confusing. ;-)

Excellent case-solving deduction, Mr. Homes. One clue is that those who "tend to blame some bully's voice," is often the bully him/herself. On to the next case to chase!

SheerLuck fell in a well, Whatsup said, "Oh well," "He might have been drinking, He might have been thinking, with SheerLuck, you never can tell." Sorry had to unclog the lim'rik machine before I said thanks for weighing in on the case ~ John W.
