She Who Dawns
It’s a dot in the sky
Or is it …
The queen of the heavens
The youthful princess
On whom shall never descend the
Wrinkles of old age
Her gait as smooth as feathers on silk
And yet so swift
The sky is her bed
And the heaven her field
And yes her robe that quietly
Sweeps by
And her adornment of the stars
And the dress of clouds
O beauty,
What lies behind thy glittery eyes?
Haven’t you been in the dark for long
But days of colour and black you have seen
But stood quiet for ever so long
Now open up my love, my life
Now pour out all the wisdom you got
And behind the slender body
Is the pain of perhaps of being alive
Come back in the dark sky you dawn
Come back and be the moon of the night sky
