She Whispers

She whispers, "take me to a place, where clocks don't tick.
Take me away where time doesn't pass me by. A place where I can scream, and where it's okay to cry.
Take me away, from this hell I call life. Away from the people and away from the strife."

He whispers back, " I will take you to a place where you won't be afraid. As for clocks, why should they tick anyway?
As for the screaming, I do not think I could bear. As for your crying, please know I will always be there.
As for people, there are so many that are cruel. Anyone that dare hurt you will only bring onto the fire, so much more fuel.
You are my sunset, my desert rose. As for your pain in your heart, please allow me to help it close."

Such a deeply love filled poem that will touch many hearts. This my friend is what love is all about, holding them when they cry, chasing their fears, taking their pain away and yes, stopping those damn clocks from ticking. Really nicely done, I liked the rhyme scheme to this. Very cool.
