She Wept All Day

She wept all day

In the time of departure
He turned and saw her
After the cross from the ridge
Only sad remained forever

Days past night sleepless counting ceiling
The sketched lines in the wall
Got dim and fade since then
New lines were present with sketch again
But didn't give love and life for enliven

She remained to wait then
Day by day eyes widening
Morning sun used to give
A beam of hope whether today
The letter will come, but
The appearance of postman
Long past never reached

Her evening wind started to tease
Night's peace started to turn weep
At least a sentence of love
Through the paper and ink
would have strengthened the power
To live and forgive

Long past he did not write
In home and in village
Whispers walked letting her slate
Desire to talk with friends
Began to feel heavy and ill

Later she knew he flew towards east
she concluded a deception in love
Selfish fun only was in that conceive
She didn't blame him because he left at ease

She wept all day remembering event
Then years after he came back
He did not find her there
Nobody was there to tell him story

Ridges were changed
Turned old and grey
Greenery moved far not having tree
Mound in which he stood
Asked where were you guy!
He was disheartened
Remembering whether he did right

Empty gave him fear and end
Missing of everything
He decided to return with sack
Leaving dues dilapidated
He could not guess
She used to weep all day
No one was there
To tell him black day.
