She Was Brilliant Instead

~SHE WAS BRILLIANT INSTEAD~ 

She wasn't the type who'll ignore you to get your attention, she shows extra care instead,
She wasn't the type who gets insecure about her personality, when you're the limelight, she cheers for you instead,
She wasn't the girl who sent one liners to prove she's not childish when you are excited, she sends a 100 emojis and types paragraphs instead,
She doesn't come and cry along when life hits her with pain, she stands strong and deals instead,
 She travels kilometers and kilometers alone, not to prove her presence, but to never make you feel her absence instead,
 She doesn't have high waisted jeans or manicured nails, she has a contagious laugh and a quirky personality instead,
 She was a girl I met, my dear friend, maybe she wasn't the things we normally see, she was brilliant instead.
